The erhu carries a melody the way a voice does, so it is built around the move between notes rather than the notes themselves. True legato joins one pitch to the next, and a second full sample set drops the vibrato when you want the line to sit still.
Every articulation sits on its own keyswitch. The Sampler marks the switch keys and the playable range on the keyboard.
