Terms and Conditions

Last updated 8 November 2026

These terms cover the combamusic.com website, the free Comba Sampler, and the products and instruments you buy from us. Please read them before you download or buy anything.

1. Who we are

The website and the Comba Sampler are run by Comba Music LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Comba Music”, “we”, “us”).

Address: 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA
Email: contact@combamusic.com

2. Agreeing to these terms

By using the website, installing the Comba Sampler or buying from us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the Comba Sampler. You must be at least 18 years old to buy, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

3. How buying works

Our order process is run by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. That means Paddle sells the product to you, takes the payment, works out and collects sales tax or VAT, sends your invoice and handles refunds. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase as well as these terms.

Every product page shows what you are buying and its price before you pay. Sales tax or VAT, where it applies, is calculated at checkout based on where you live. There are no subscriptions: you pay once for each product.

4. The Comba Sampler

The Comba Sampler is free. We give you a free, non-exclusive licence to install it on your computers and use it to make music, including music you sell or publish. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the Comba Sampler, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows you to.

5. Your licence for products and instruments

When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use its sounds in your own work. You may:

  • use the sounds in music and audio productions, including commercial releases, film, TV, games and adverts, without paying royalties;
  • keep using music you made with the sounds, even after your licence ends.

You may not:

  • share, sell, rent or give away the product, its instruments or its samples, on their own or as part of anything else you make;
  • use the samples to build another sample library, sound pack or virtual instrument, including by training a machine-learning model to reproduce them;
  • let other people use your licence.

Many products are made by independent producers. They keep the copyright in their work, and we grant this licence on their behalf. The product is licensed to you, not sold to you.

6. Delivery and activation

After you buy, you get a file that you open with Add content in the Comba Sampler. The Sampler downloads, checks and installs the product. To unlock it, you sign in once on each computer, in your browser, with the email address you bought with. You can use a product on a set number of your own computers, and you can free up a computer yourself when you change machines. Once signed in, the Sampler also works offline for a time.

Please keep a backup of your installed products. We try to keep downloads available, but we cannot promise to do so forever.

7. Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying. The details are in our Refund Policy. When an order is refunded, the licence for it ends, and you must remove the product from your computers.

8. Updates and system requirements

We may update the Comba Sampler and the products to fix problems or add features. Each product page lists what your computer needs. Please check that before you buy.

9. Using the website

Please do not misuse the website: no attempts to break, overload or get around its security, and no copying of its content for other products.

10. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to make the Comba Sampler and our products reliable, but we provide them as they are, without promises beyond those the law requires. If you live in a country with consumer protection laws, you keep all the rights those laws give you, and nothing in these terms takes them away.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost work, lost profits or data loss, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.

11. Ending your licence

If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must stop using and remove the products concerned. Music you have already released stays yours.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect purchases you made before them.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms or an order: contact@combamusic.com. For help with a payment or invoice, you can also contact Paddle at paddle.net.
